Dodge at Kansas Speedway
· Dodge has earned one victory in the seven Sprint Cup races contested at Kansas Speedway. Penske South Racing’s Ryan Newman won the 2003 Banquet 400 by ConAgra Foods, edging out Gillett Evernham teammates Bill Elliott and Jeremy Mayfield.
· Dodge earned the first-ever Sprint Cup pole position (2001) at Kansas Speedway. Former Dodge driver Jason Leffler circled the 1.5-mile oval at 176.499 mph. Leffler finished 26th in the race.
· The 2003 event at Kansas Speedway was the first time Dodge finished 1-2-3 since their return to Cup racing in 2001 (Newman, Elliott and Mayfield).
· The 2003 event was the first time Dodge placed five cars in the top-10 at a single event since their return to Cup racing in 2001 (Jamie McMurray and Rusty Wallace also finished in the top 10).
· Kasey Kahne earned Dodge its first pole at Kansas Speedway in 2006 with a lap of 178.377 mph. Kahne led 11 laps in the race before finishing 33rd.

Dodge Drivers at Kansas Speedway
· Ryan Newman (No. 12 Alltel Doge Charger) has one win, three top-five and three top-10 finishes in seven NASCAR Cup Series starts at Kansas Speedway. Newman’s only win at Kansas Speedway came in 2003.
· Kurt Bush (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) has two top-fives in seven career starts at Kansas Speedway. Busch has led 79 laps and has an average finishing position of 19.4.
· Robby Gordon (No. 7 Dodge Charger) switches to Penske South Racing engines beginning this weekend. Gordon was previously using GEM power plants.
· Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger) is currently second in the 2008 Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings. He trails leader Regan Smith by three points and leads third-place driver Patrick Carpentier (No. 10 LifeLock Dodge Charger) by six points. This is both Hornish Jr.’s and Carpentier’s first Cup start at Kansas.
· Kasey Kahne (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger) has a career-best ninth-place finish at Kansas in 2007. He has one pole and led 50 laps.
· Elliott Sadler (No. 19 Garmin Dodge Charger) will be making his 350th career NSCS start this weekend. In seven previous starts at Kansas, Sadler has one top-five and three top-10 finishes.
· Bobby Labonte (No. 43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge) has competed in all seven Cup races held at Kansas Speedway. His best finish at Kansas is 16th in 2004.
· Kyle Petty (No. 45 Wells Fargo Dodge Charger) has six career starts at Kansas. His best finish is 15th.
· Reed Sorenson (No. 41 Target Dodge) has a best finish of seventh (2007) in two career starts at Kansas.
