Dodge at Martinsville Speedway

· The last Dodge victory at Martinsville Speedway came in the 2004 spring event with Rusty Wallace taking the win.

· Dodge has 10 wins at Martinsville including three sweeps (1953, 1956 and 1975).

· Dodge drivers with wins at Martinsville include Lee Petty, Jim Paschal, Buck Baker, Jack Smith, Bobby Isaac, Richard Petty, Dave Marcis and Rusty Wallace.

· Eight of the 11 Dodge drivers entered in Sunday’s race are in the top 35 and guaranteed a starting spot. The three drivers that must qualify for the race on speed are Chad McCumbee (No. 45), Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 77) and A.J. Allmendinger (No. 10)

· Kurt Busch and Bobby Labonte had wins at Martinsville before they joined the Dodge Motorsports family. Busch swept both races in 2003. Labonte won the spring race in 2002.

The Dodge Boys at Martinsville Speedway

· Bobby Labonte (No. 43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge Charger) is the only driver to win in all three NASCAR series at Martinsville Speedway (Truck – 2005, Nationwide – 1992, Sprint Cup – 2002). Labonte has scored six top-5 finishes at Martinsville; all six have been in his last 14 visits to the track. His most recent top-5 came in 2006 when he finished third. Labonte has raced at Martinsville Speedway 31 times; he won in 2002 and has amassed six top-five and thirteen top-10 finishes at the track.

· Kurt Busch (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) will be making his 17th career start at Martinsville this weekend. Busch’s career record at Martinsville Speedway boasts one win, two top-five and four top-10 finishes and one pole in 16 races. Busch is the 2002 event champion.

· Reed Sorenson (No. 41 Target Dodge Charger) will be making his 200th NASCAR start Sunday. Sorenson has participated in 95 NNS events and 104 NSCS races heading into this weekend’s event. Sorenson’s best Martinsville finish is 12th (April-2006).

· Chad McCumbee (No. 45 Marathon Spirit of American Motor Oil Dodge Charger) will be making his first NSCS start at Martinsville.

· Ryan Newman (No. 12 Alltel Dodge Charger) has two poles at Martinsville Speedway. Newman also has five top-five and six top-10 finishes at the .526-mile oval in 13 NASCAR Cup starts. Newman’s best finish at Martinsville was a second-place effort last fall.

· Juan Pablo Montoya (No. 42 Big Red Slim Pack Dodge Charger) has completed all laps of competition (1506) in his three starts at Martinsville Speedway. Montoya has led nine laps and has one top-10 and three top-20 finishes at Martinsville. His best finish is eighth-place (2007) while averaging a 26th-place starting position and 12.3-place finishing position.

· Elliott Sadler (No. 19 Best Buy Dodge Charger) will make his 20th-career start at Martinsville. The Virginia native has a career best finish of seventh (2006).

· Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger, will make his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at Martinsville Speedway. Hornish secured a 28th place finish in March. Hornish Jr. will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition debut this weekend as driver of the No. 4 Penske Truck Rental for Bobby Hamilton Racing.

· A.J. Allmendinger (No. 10 Valvoline Dodge Charger) takes over for Patrick Carpentier in the No. 10 Dodge Charger this weekend.

· Robby Gordon (No. 7 Menards Dodge Charger) will be making his 17th career start at Martinsville Speedway. His best finish is 20th in 2005.
