The Busch Series has completed its final practice and the teams will now prepare their cars for qualifying, which is scheduled to begin at 4:05 CST. Following qualifying, the cars will be impouded.
Busch Series final practice results are as follows:
1-10: Truex Jr., Kenseth, Wood, Bowyer, Smith, Leffler, Nemechek, B. Labonte, Stremme, and J. Sauter.
11-20: Martin, Yeley, Robertson, Sorenson, Sherman, Blaney, Kahne, Menard, D. Green, Lamar.
21-30: Kyle Busch, Keller, Kauffman, Sadler, Harvick, Compton, R. Wallace, K. Wallace, Edwards, J. Labonte.
31-40: Raines, Waltrip, Lewis Jr., Biffle, Jourdain Jr (who wrecked in practice), M. Wallace, T. Sauter, Blount, Bodine, K. Hamlin.
41-50: Contreras, D. Hamlin, Fike, Bell, Fuller, Davis, Mosely, M. Green, Lepage, Cope.
51-54: Grissom, Goeters, Crosby, Horn.
Practice was momentarily red flagged after Michel Jordain Jr. hit the wall, significantly damaging the left side and rear of the car. Jordain Jr. appears to be OK and exited the car on his own and walked without aid to the ambulance.
Mark Martin was fastest in the first practice, followed by points leader Martin Truex Jr., Emporia, Kansas native Clint Bowyer, Jon Wood and Matt Kenseth.
Carl Edwards was fifth with Kasey Kahne sixth. Regan Smith, who tested at the Speedway last week, was eighth on the practice sheet, with Jason Leffler and Kevin Harvick rounding out the top ten.
The remaining practice results are as follows:
11-20: Sorenson, Yeley, Nemechek, Menard, B. Labonte, Bodine, Kyle Busch, Raines, Blount, and E. Sadler.
21-30: D. Green, Strenne, D. Hamlin, Kauffmann, Jordain Jr., Waltrip, Biffle, J. Labonte, M. Wallace and Lewis Jr.
31-40: R. Wallace, J. Sauter, Keller, K. Wallace, Sherman, Blaneyk, Fike, Lamar, Compton, and K. Hamlin.
41-50: Contreras, T. Sauter, Bell, Fuller, Davis, Grissom, Lepage, Horn, Cope and Goeters.
51-54: Mosley, Robertson, Crosby and M. Green.
