ARCA Re/Max Series Qualifying - Miller takes the pole

Nikki Krone · Friday July 1, 2005

Joey Miller has won the pole for Saturday’s Kansas Lottery $200 Grand ARCA Re/Max event at Kansas Speedway.  Frank Kimmel will start second, followed by Kyle Krisiloff, Christi Passmore, and Chad McCumbee.

Jarrett, in his last race in the No. 25, was sitting on the provisional pole for a long time before being knocked off by Passmore.  Jarrett will start seventh.  Passmore’s reign didn’t last long as she was soon bumped from the pole by Miller who took the position on his first lap and was even quicker on the second.  Miller did have to hold his breath while Kimmel, probably the last legitimate shot at the pole, qualified shortly after him.  Kimmel put his car on the outside pole but opted to go for just one lap.
