ASA Late Model Series Press Statement from Iowa Speedway - Friday, May 17, 2008

Good Morning from Iowa Speedway.

Due to technical difficulties within the back end of the ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division Website (www.asalatemodels.com), the “ASALMS Live” Feature from Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa has been moved to the ASALMS Northern Division Website (www.asalatemodelsnorth.com) for Friday and Saturday, May 16-17, 2008.

Day One of the Pride of Iowa 150 will feature the cars and stars of the ASALMS Challenge Division getting acclimated to the fast 7/8s mile progressively banked paved oval with an all day test and tune that begins at 10:00a.m. with periodic breaks. The All-Day Practice will run until 6:00p.m.

Then Day Two will Feature Practice beginning at 10:00a.m., ARP Bodies /Aluminum Racing Products Qualifying at 2:00p.m., and then the second race of the 2008 racing season for “America’s Premiere Short Track Series”, the Pride of Iowa 150, which will be ran under the unique Triple 50s Format and will get the green flag at 8:00p.m. (CST)
