Sunoco’s Free Fuel 5000 Rewards Consumers With Free Gas Prizes
Wednesday June 18, 2008
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (June 6, 2008) – Sunoco®, the Fuel of NASCAR, has kicked off their Free Fuel 5000 summer promotion for the fourth consecutive year. The Free Fuel 5000 rewards customer loyalty to the Sunoco Brand with free gas prizes all summer long.
Consumers are encouraged to enter by stopping at one of over 4,000 participating Sunoco stations to pick up a free Sunoco/NASCAR decal and displaying it on their car – the same decal featured on every car in NASCAR. Sunoco will deploy professional spotting teams throughout the summer and, if a consumer is spotted with the decal displayed on their vehicle at or near a Sunoco station, they will instantly win a Gift Card for free gas. The spotting teams will reward 12,000 instant winners who can then be included in a grand prize drawing for 5,000 gallons of quality gasoline from Sunoco. Consumers can win Sunoco Gift Cards again and again, every time they are spotted.
“Sunoco is excited to bring back the Free Fuel 5000 again this year and reward our loyal consumers throughout the summer months with free gas as well as provide one lucky Sunoco customer with 5,000 gallons of free fuel.” says Chris Buitron, Manager – Brand Marketing. “It’s our way of thanking our customers for their continued support.”
Customers can log onto gosunoco.com for the official rules, to find participating locations and view photos of the winners as they are spotted at Sunoco stations.
