2. The Light Up The Night 150 Post-Race Recap and Photo Gallery.

Lexington, Michigan (Tuesday, July 8, 2008): The ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Presented by GM Performance Parts has completed Race #4 out of 11 in their hectic 2008 racing season!

The Light Up The Night 150 was at the wicked-fast high-banks of I-70 Speedway, located East of Kansas City in Odessa, Missouri on Saturday, July 5, 2008 as 32 teams took the green flag in helping to celebrate the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend

The ASALMS congratulates 15-year-old Miami, Florida teenager, Drew Brannon, who’s originally from Kansas City, Missouri on his first career ASALMS Feature win and in the process, becoming the youngest driver in ASALMS History to do so!

The entire ASALMS family sincerely want to thank Brad McDonald, John Bauer, Doug Hayes, and the rest of the outstanding management and staff of I-70 Speedway for the always wonderful hospitality and for making the long haul to the Show-Me State a great experience.

3. Salem Speedway and Round II of the O’Reilly Auto Parts ASA Late Model Triple Crown Series is next for America’s Premiere Short Track Series.

Lexington, Michigan (Tuesday, July 8, 2008): Since the days of the original USPRO Cup Series (Now ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division) in 2003, the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts has proudly called the Great Lakes region of the United States home.

With ties primarily to the series’ home state of Michigan, as well as Indiana and Ohio, Michigan has hosted the most overall ASALMS events in series history with 23 events! Coming in second place is the great state of Indiana with 14 overall races!

There’s one date on the 2008 calendar in the Hoosier State that has the ASALMS family finally getting their wish as a long awaited race at one of the most historical tracks in the country has finally been established.

The ASALMS Challenge Division will make there first ever appearance at the historic 0.555 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval of the Salem Speedway, sporting a staggering 33 degrees of banking and located North of Louisville, Kentucky in Salem, Indiana on Friday and Saturday, July 18-19, 2008 for the running of The Trials 200 Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts!

This is the second race of three within the coveted O’Reilly Auto Parts ASA Late Model Triple Crown Series! Sean Murphy won the first leg of the series within the series back on April 26, 2008 at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis and leads the separate O’Reilly Auto Parts Triple Crown Points Standings.
