Revolution Oil Becomes Pro Cup Series Title Sponsor

Thursday August 9, 2012

Agreement Rebrands Series As The Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series

Officials with the Championship Auto Racing Series (CARS) are proud to announce that Revolution Oil has agreed to become the title sponsor of the CARS Pro Cup Series, effective immediately.

The CARS Pro Cup Series will now be known as the Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series. The title sponsorship agreement runs through the 2013 racing season.

“The addition of Revolution Oil as title sponsor of the Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series is a major step for us,” said Jack McNelly, president of the Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series. “We couldn’t be happier to have them on board and we look forward to a fantastic relationship going forward.”

The difficult state of the economy has taken its toll on the motorsports industry in recent years, but this sponsorship announcement is proof that good things come to those who wait.

“The racing industry has been struggling the last few years, that’s for sure,” McNelly said. “This agreement with Revolution Oil is not only a positive sign for our series, but for every short-track series around the country. The economy is coming back and this is proof positive of that.”

Revolution Oil is a multi-faceted company with its focus in identifying technologies and products that will increase longevity and performance, while reducing the carbon footprint of its clients. Revolution Oil combines the experience of its people with the strength of its strategic alliances to create and identify new opportunities in the oil, gas, energy and transportation industries.

“We at Revolution Oil are proud to announce our sponsorship of the CARS Pro Cup Series. In lending our name to the series we look forward to bringing the series back to where it was and beyond,” said Eddie Conz, COO of Revolution Oil.

“Revolution Oil is proud to present the Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series. We look forward to giving families and fans the best racing experience at the best racing price.”
Revolution Oil is currently developing a full line of superior lubricants for the transportation industry, with a focus on saving fuel as well as reducing emissions and engine wear. The company has already debuted the new HI-TEK25 15-W 40 Diesel Motor Oil, a special line of oil geared towards the trucking industry.

“Revolution Oil is proud to partner with the Pro Cup Series as their new title sponsor,” said Butch Conz, spokesman for Revolution Oil. “We are looking forward to beginning our involvement with the Pro Cup Series and working together to increase the visibility of both organizations. It has been a pleasure working with Pro Cup Series President Jack McNelly and his staff to craft a partnership that will enhance the value of Pro Cup events for both competitors and fans, while also increasing sales of the entire Revolution Oil line of products.”
