Fireworks and racing in the same night? That’s what’s happening Saturday, July 6 at Plymouth Speedway.
Drivers in the IMods, UMP Modifieds, USAC 600 Sprints, USAC r600w Sprints, Super Streets and Thunder Stocks divisions will create their own fireworks racing on the dirt track, but stick around after the features for a spectacular fireworks show. The winning drivers will get a big trophy – a six foot red, white and blue trophy to be exact – and a bigger payout in the features as well!
Can Frank Marshall regain the points lead after Tommy Beezley II took it over June 29 in the UMP modified division? Can David Short close in on Bob McLean’s six point lead in the Super Streets division? Will Randy Lambert keep his competitors chasing after his first place position in the Thunder Stock Division? What will happen in the USAC series? Those questions will be answered this Saturday!
The pits are expected to fill up quickly as well as the grandstands so come early. Make sure you sign up for free tickets, and purchase $5.00 raffle tickets for a 24’ enclosed trailer and a chance to win a life-sized cardboard stand-up of three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart. The winner will get a chance to get that autographed and to attend a Q&A and autograph session with Tony Stewart on August 15 at the Newton Center in Lakeville.
Racing and fireworks – the perfect combination for a Saturday night of entertainment.
The pits open at 3 p.m., gates open at 4 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. ET.
