Carolina Speedway Honored by the North Carolina Motorsports Associaiton

GASTONIA, NC – Carolina Speedway has been chosen by the North Carolina Motorsports Association (NCMA) as an award recipient at this year’s annual banquet.

Carolina Speedway was selected to receive the Motorsports Industry Awards for excellence in advancing motorsports in North Carolina.

“Carolina Speedway was nominated during our banquet committee meeting for having a good weekly racing program and the big events such as the King of the Carolinas”, said NCMA’s Haven Kerchner.

“It is a great honor to be recognized by the NCMA,” said Carolina Speedway’s Clint Elkins “The do a great deal to promote racing in the state and we are happy to accept the award.”

Carolina Speedway is located in Gastonia, NC. The 14th Annual Skyler Trull Memorial will open the 2014 racing season March 7-8. For more information please visit www.carolinaspeedway.net
