SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — The 2014 season at South Boston Speedway is just around the corner and season tickets for the 17 action-packed events that will make up the schedule this year are currently on sale.

Two races for the PASS Super Late Model Series are also slated for June 7 and Aug. 16.

On Thursday, July 3, America’s Hometown Track will host its annual pre-Fourth of July racing event. That event will feature a 200-lap Late Model Stock Car Division event, a 100-lap Limited Sportsman race, a 50-lap Pure Stock Division race, and the annual Fireworks Extravaganza.

The highly-anticipated Hornets Division will also be featured in racing action at South Boston Speedway in 2014. The debut for the division is scheduled for March 22. In all, seven races are on tap for the Hornets Division, an entry-level racing division featuring stock four-cylinder cars.

The 2014 season will conclude on Sept. 13 with a special night of racing, highlighted by a 150-lap race for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour and twin 75-lap races for the competitors in the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division.
