Frontstretch is live all weekend from Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Dollar General 300 Busch Series race and the Bank of America 500 for the Nextel Cup Series. Today we will bring you live updates on Busch Series practice, Nextel Cup Series practice and Nextel Cup Series Bud Pole Qualifying.
First up will be Nextel Cup Series practice which begins at 3:30 PM. Busch Series teams take to the track for their first practice session at 5:10 PM with a 30 minute Raybestos Rookie practice session for Busch Series drivers following at 6:25 PM. The big event for the day is Nextel Cup Series Bud Pole qualifying scheduled to start at 7:10 PM.
Weather should not be a factor today as some storms that passed through the region last night have moved on and left the Charlotte area with sunny skies and warm temperatures expected to reach the mid 70s this afternoon. There is a slight chance of showers later this evening and temperatures will get cooler so bring a jacket if you are coming out for qualifying tonight.
