Frontstretch Live Coverage Continues From Lowe's Motor Speedway
Toni Montgomery · Friday October 13, 2006
Frontstretch is live all weekend from Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Dollar General 300 Busch Series race and the Bank of America 500 for the Nextel Cup Series. Today we will bring you live updates on Busch Series qualifying, Nextel Cup Series practice and the Dollar General 300 Busch Series race.
First up will be Nextel Cup Series practice which begins at 2:30 PM. That session will run for 60 minutes with the final practice session for the Cup cars taking place shortly after at 4:05 PM. Busch Series are next up with Busch Pole Qualifying starting at 5:05 PM. The big event for today is the Dollar General 300 for the Busch Series which is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM. Tonight could be the night Kevin Harvick clinches the Busch Series Championship which would set a record for the earliest point in the season any driver has done that.
Weather today is still sunny and clear but it is quite a bit cooler than yesterday with highs only expected to reach the mid 60s. Dress warm if you are coming to the race tonight because it will get quite chilly once the sun goes down.
Frontstretch will also keep you updated on the latest NASCAR news so stay tuned for the latest from Lowe's Motor Speedway.
