New Hampshire Motor Speedway Looks to Reduce Carbon Footprint with Green Team Initiative

Thursday June 25, 2009

LOUDON, N.H. (June 25, 2009) – Starting today, New Hampshire Motor Speedway is rolling out its Green Team Initiative for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 weekend.

The Green Team Initiative is a recycling program in the RV and general parking areas at the speedway. It is a part of Waste Management’s Single-Stream recycling system where items such as paper, plastic, and aluminum are all recycled into one bin and then sorted at their plant. On the grounds of the speedway, campers will see green barrels for recycling and gray barrels for other trash. The green barrels will have a large yellow sticker outlining acceptable items for Single-Stream recycling.

Tickets for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 are on sale now. The new MegaTicket package features three days of racing for $99. The LENOX Speed Zone seating section offers fans a $39 Sunday ticket. With these promotions, fans have the unique opportunity to experience NASCAR racing for approximately 13 cents a lap!

To purchase tickets to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway LENOX Industrial Tools 301 and SYLVANIA 300 weekends, please call our Ticket Hotline at (603) 783-4931 or visit the speedway online at www.nhms.com.
