Kyle Busch Fastest in 2011 Royal Purple 200 Practice at Darlington

DARLINGTON, S.C. – Kyle Busch was fastest in Nationwide Series practice with a lap of 28.425 seconds for a speed of 173.303 mph. Busch was more than a mile per hour faster than second-quick Clint Bowyer, whose best lap was 28.635 seconds for a speed of 171.734 mph.

Third fastest was another Cup regular, Carl Edwards, who posted a fast time of 28.680 mph for a speed of 171.464 mph. Fourth on the speed charts was Kasey Kahne, who clocked a 28.745-second lap for a speed of 171.077 mph. The fastest Nationwide Series regular and fifth fastest overall was Reed Sorenson who stopped the watch in 28.773 seconds for a speed of 170.910 mph.

The Nationwide Series qualifies at 3:35 for the 29th Annual Royal Purple 200. The green flag flies at 7:46 p.m. ET.
