Kyle Busch on the pole for the Sprint All-Star race; Ragan on the pole for the All-Star Showdown

Kyle Busch laid down the fastest lap in practice for the All-Star race which afforded him the last qualifying attempt for the All-Star race. Busch made the most of it laying down a three lap time of 119.191 seconds which equated to a 135.916 mph. That bested Clint Bowyer who will start on the outside of the front row with a three lap time of 119.666 seconds and a speed of 135.377 mph. The second row will have Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards while Mark Martin and Tony Stewart will be in the third row.

David Ragan was the fastest qualifier for the Sprint Showdown. He turned in a 191.680 mph lap in 28.172 seconds. AJ Allmendinger will be to his outside with Paul Menard and Brad Keselowski starting in the second row.
