MWR & RCR Sprint Cup Teams Will Test at New Hampshire Tuesday and Wednesday

The NASCAR Sprint Cup teams at both Michael Waltrip Racing and Richard Childress Racing are testing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH today and tomorrow in preparation for next week’s Camping World RV Sales 301. Brian Vickers and the No. 55 Toyota are defending race winners, and are still looking for the team’s first win of the season, making this trip to New England an important one.

The other drivers for MWR have had success at the ‘Magic Mile’ as well, Clint Bowyer has two victories at the 1.058 mile track, while veteran, part-time driver Jeff Burton has four career wins at Loudon.

For RCR, Paul Menard in the No. 27 is winless at in New Hampshire, veteran driver Ryan Newman has three victories at the track, and rookie Austin Dillon will be behind the wheel of the No. 3 for the first time at NHMS. This July’s race at NHMS will mark the first time the No. 3 car has been on the track in 15 years since the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

The testing session is open to the public, and free to attend. Gates will be open from 9am to 5 pm each day.
