Kurt Busch Wins Pole for 2015 Auto Club 400 at Fontana

Kurt Busch was fastest all day Friday at Auto Club Speedway and he proved it by winning the pole for Sunday’s race with a lap of 185.142 mph.

This is Busch’s second race back from being suspended indefinitely by NASCAR for domestic abuse allegations involving his ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll.

Busch’s teammate, and winner of the last two races, Kevin Harvick, will start second. Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Matt Kenseth and David Ragan, who is filling in for Kyle Busch, will start third and fourth, respectively. Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski, Ryan Newman and Clint Bowyer round out the top 10.

The two drivers that missed the race were Reed Sorenson and Travis Kvapil.
