Overnight rains and low temperatures at Texas Motor Speedway cancelled Xfinity Series qualifying Saturday morning at TMS. As a result, the field for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge was set via Friday’s practice speeds. Austin Dillon will start on the pole alongside Brad Keselowski. Last night’s Truck Series winner, Erik Jones, who is running triple duty this weekend, will start third. Regan Smith and Daniel Suarez round out the top five.
Kyle Busch starts sixth, followed by Darrell Wallace Jr. Kevin Harvick, piloting the No. 88 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports this weekend will start eighth. Ty Dillon and Chase Elliott round out the top 10. Points leader Chris Buescher will start 12th.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC; the race can also be heard on your local PRN affiliate.
