Trevor Bayne, AdvoCare Extend Cup Deal

Trevor Bayne looks to be sticking around at Roush Fenway Racing for a few more seasons.

The team announced Wednesday that Bayne will continue to pilot the AdvoCare Ford for another three seasons, signing the driver through 2019.

“AdvoCare has been an outstanding partner to work with, and I am really excited to continue this relationship and represent AdvoCare for three more seasons,” Bayne said in the release. “It’s a top-notch organization with a great group of employees and independent distributors who share our core principles of hard work and determination.”

Additionally, the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford will feature a special paint scheme honoring fallen members of the U.S. Navy SEALS during this weekend’s AAA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Bayne and AdvoCare began their partnership in 2014, when the driver ran full-time for Roush in the XFINITY Series. Both moved to the Sprint Cup Series in 2015.

After recording just two top 10s in his maiden Cup season with Roush and AdvoCare, Bayne possesses two top 5s and five top 10s in 2016, with a best finish of third coming at Daytona International Speedway in July. He currently sits 22nd in points with three races remaining.
