Brad Keselowski Paces XFINITY Pocono Practice

Brad Keselowski led the way in opening practice for the XFINITY Series at Pocono Raceway with a best time of 53.210 seconds (169.141 mph).

The Team Penske No. 22 ran 13 laps in the one-hour session at the 2.5-mile track.

Second place was Kyle Benjamin, who makes his second career XFINITY start in Saturday’s Pocono Green 250. The Joe Gibbs Racing rookie was 0.117 behind Keselowski’s top time. Kyle Larson was third followed by Blake Koch and Ty Dillon the top 10.

Paul Menard was sixth followed by Richard Childress Racing teammate Daniel Hemric in seventh. JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier, Brennan Poole and Daniel Suarez completed the top 10.

Carl Long had the lone issue of the session, spinning his No. 13 Ford off Turn 2, suffering minimal damage.
