Frontstretch Podcast: Happy Times for Happy Harvick

In the latest episode of the 2018 Frontstretch Podcast, we review the Kevin Harvick Invitational at ISM Raceway, with Dustin AlbinoMike Neff and Joseph Wolkin, while also previewing the weekend ahead at Auto Club Speedway.

The trio discuss the hot start that Harvick and Stewart-Haas Racing have jumped out to, putting all four cars in the top 10 for the first time ever this past weekend. Coming off back-to-back weekends in which the No. 4 car led more than half the race, it took a patient Harvick to be the closer on Sunday, leading just 38 laps.

Finally, we discuss each manufacture, as Toyota has five finishers inside the top nine on Sunday, while Chase Elliott was the lone Chevrolet inside the top 10. What’s wrong with Jimmie Johnson and Hendrick Motorsports, and is it time for a cookies and mile meeting with team owner Rick Hendrick?

About Dustin Albino

Dustin Albino
Dustin joined the Frontstretch team at the beginning of the 2016 season. 2018 marks his fourth full-time season covering the sport that he grew up loving. His dream was to one day be a NASCAR journalist, thus why he attended Ithaca College (Class of 2018) to earn a journalism degree. Since the ripe age of four, he knew he wanted to be in the sport in some fashion. It's safe to say Dustin is living the dream.
