Bangor Savings Bank to Support Austin Theriault, Rick Ware Racing Through End of 2019

Bangor Savings Bank has extended its partnership with Austin Theriault and Rick Ware Racing, the team announced in a release on Sept. 19.

The bank will serve as continue to serve as Theriault’s primary sponsor in select events throughout the remainder of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season.

“The partnership with Bangor Savings and myself has been extremely successful so far,” Theriault said in a release. “I am humbled by the fan involvement and interaction we’ve received since first announcing BSB as a sponsor at Loudon [New Hampshire Motor Speedway] in July and I am excited to keep that momentum going throughout the rest of the 2019 season.”

This season, Theriault has made three starts for RWR in its No. 52, including his Cup debut at New Hampshire  last July. Bangor Saving Bank served as primary sponsor for the 2017 ARCA Menards Series champion at NHMS and Michigan International Raceway.

“We are thrilled to announce that Bangor Bank is extending their partnership with RWR,” Rick Ware, owner of Rick Ware Racing, said. “Bangor Bank received a great deal of exposure from the races at New Hampshire, Pocono and Michigan, and they are excited about doing more with us and with Austin Theriault.”

The bank will serve as an associate sponsor for the 25-year-old for the remaining races on Theriault schedule, including this weekend’s contest at Richmond Raceway (Sept. 21), as the Fort Kent, Maine, native will strap behind the wheel of RWR’s No. 51 Chevrolet. He is scheduled to drive at least two additional races before the end of the season for the team.
