Advance Auto Parts Sponsoring Ryan Blaney in 2020

Ryan Blaney will carry new colors in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series.

National auto parts retailer Advance Auto Parts will sponsor Blaney and his No. 12 Team Penske Ford Mustang in select races throughout the 2020 season, Blaney announced Thursday, Nov. 21.

Advance Auto Parts currently serves as the title sponsor of the Advance Auto Parts Clash, an exhibition at Daytona International Speedway held each February on the weekend preceding the Daytona 500.

Since making his Cup Series debut in 2014, Blaney has amassed three victories and six pole awards in 162 starts. In 2019, Blaney earned a spot in the playoffs for the third consecutive season.

The 25-year-old capped off the season with 11 top fives, 18 top 10s and a sixth-place finish in points. Additionally, Blaney scored a win at Talladega Superspeedway and a pole award at ISM Raceway.

Advance Auto Parts will be on board the No. 12 car as a primary sponsor in four races: Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 15, Richmond Raceway on April 19, Watkins Glen International on Aug. 16 and Bristol Motor Speedway on Sept. 19. In addition, it will be an associate sponsor for the full Cup season.
