Jeffrey Earnhardt Lands Part-Time Ride at JD Motorsports for 2020

Jeffrey Earnhardt will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020 competing for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller part-time, in a reunion of sorts.

Earnhardt, 30, is scheduled to run between four and five races for JDM in the No. 15 car, and at least 12 races total. His first event will come on March 14 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the same venue in which he snagged his first career top-10 finish last season.

Last year, Earnhardt ran seven Xfinity races, split between Joe Gibbs Racing and XCI Racing. In those events, the North Carolina native had a best result of third (best finish of NASCAR career) at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Memorial Day Weekend.

In 2014, Earnhardt ran the full season for JDM, placing a season-best 12th in the night race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Then, driving the No. 4 car, he finished 18th in the championship standings.

Earnhardt is the most recent addition to JDM for 2020, after the team previously announced it had signed on Jesse Little and David Starr full-time, while BJ McLeod will return to the team and Colby Howard will compete in 20 races.

Jeffrey must have turned JRM full time ride down cause jr is such a great guy he must have offered one to a relative first I would think.

What did Jeffrey do to quickly lose his previous ride? Did he play the Earnhardt card?
