Danny Bohn will compete for On Point Motorsports in five events in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, the team announced Thursday (Feb. 27).

Bohn brings sponsorship from North American Motor Car and Sierra Delta aboard the No. 30 Toyota.

His first race this season comes at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 14. He will also race at Richmond Raceway (April 18), Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 15), Bristol Motor Speedway (Sept. 17) and Talladega Superspeedway (Oct. 3).

“I’m excited to get back on the track in the No. 30 Toyota Tundra truck with On Point Motorsports,” said Bohn in a team release. “Sierra Delta sponsored us for the last two races in 2019, so to have them return alongside North American Motor Car for at least five races this season gives me the opportunity to gain further experience in the Truck Series.”

Bohn debuted in the Truck Series last season at Martinsville Speedway and finished eighth for On Point. He then had two more starts at Phoenix Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway where he finished 27th and 25th, respectively.

He has a distinguished Whelen Southern Modified career, with four victories, 27 top fives and 42 top 10s.

The Georgia 200 is set to run on Saturday, March 14 at 1:30 p.m. ET and will air on Fox Sports 1.
