Iowa IndyCar Race Will Have Spectators

The NTT IndyCar Series at Iowa Speedway will have fans in attendance, the series announced Thursday (June 18).

The race weekend will be in conjunction with the ARCA Menards Series on July 17-18.

Only a limited amount of fans will be allowed to attend the races. IndyCar and Iowa Speedway will also observe social distancing and other safety precautions.

As part of the safety measures, all guests will undergo temperature checks prior to entering the track. Only essential personnel will have access to the infield. Hand sanitizer and masks will be distributed to each person upon their entrance to the track.

The race weekend will feature two points races for the IndyCar Series. The first race will take place on Friday night, July 18. The second race will take place on Saturday, July 18, the IndyCar race will take place after the ARCA race that afternoon.
