Jeb Burton has been named the pole sitter for the inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Driving the No. 8 JR Motorsports Chevrolet, the 27-year-old Burton is still searching for his first career Xfinity Series win.
JR Motorsports will have three of its four drivers starting inside the top five. In addition to Burton on the pole, Michael Annett will start second and Justin Allgaier will start fifth. The lone outlier, Noah Gragson, will start eighth.
The Xfinity Series race, the Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard, will take place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on the same day as the NTT IndyCar Series there. The Xfinity Series race will consist of 62 laps, with the first two stages ending at laps 20 and 40, respectively.
The Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard will take place on Saturday, July 4 at 3 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by NBC.
