The preliminary entry list for the Cook Out Southern 500 features 39 drivers for the first race of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs at Darlington Raceway, meaning all will race, barring any entry list changes.
Josh Bilicki will drive the No. 7 Tommy Baldwin Racing Chevrolet. It will be his 15th start of this season.
James Davison will pilot the No. 53 Rick Ware Racing Chevrolet. He finished 39th in the most recent Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway.
After Ross Chastain wheeled the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet to a 16th-place finish in the last race, Reed Sorenson will climb into the driver’s seat of the No. 77 Chevrolet at Darlington. He is one of eight entries without an announced sponsor yet.
The Cook Out Southern 500 will take place on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. ET, with TV coverage provided by NBC Sports Network.
