The No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports team incurred a penalty due to the wheel that came off the truck at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend, NASCAR announced Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The team violated Sections 12.5.2.7.4 in the NASCAR rule book, and crew chief Danny Stockman and tire changer/jack man Charles Thacker are suspended for the next three NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series events.

Since there are only two races left in the season, the suspension will carry over to the Truck event at Daytona International Speedway next year.

Chandler Smith piloted the No. 51 Toyota on Sunday. Brandon Jones is in the truck for this week’s race at Martinsville Speedway.

So a tire falls off the truck and they get a 3 race suspension out of it, however it’s perfectly acceptable for Ben Rhodes to deliberately hook Christian Eckes in the rear and drive his truck almost head on at 170 MPH. Ok got it now.

That’s NASCAR for you make it up as they go Denny won a race that he should not have won cause he passed 2 car’s to win and he was below the yellow line when he did it

Some of the rules that NASCAR has is fn dumb and for the all star race why don’t they let the team’s free to try something new and different and see if it works and take a look at it and see if it could be used that’s why they band t-rex car of Jeff’s cause it kicked but butt the all star race they should be free to do what they want

Wait. The driver stays out with a vibration, wheel comes off and you penalize the crew? NASCAR logic personified.

NA$CAR’s penalties and Brian’s brilliant ideas reminded me of the line in Raiders Of The Lost Ark…”I’m making this up as I go.”
