He currently competes full time for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the Camping World Truck Series and has earned three victories, six top fives and eight top 10 finishes in 10 events this season. He also leads the point standings.

Nemechek has nine career Truck wins, 34 top fives and 58 top 10s in 112 starts.

Nemechek joins Ty Gibbs, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin and Ty Dillon in the No. 54 JGR Xfinity car.

The Food City 300 at Bristol, the final race of the regular season, airs Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Good for him. He deserves it.

I agree, good luck to JH

I wouldn’t be surprised if John Hunter is being groomed to eventually race for JGR. Ty Gibbs will, for sure, but John Hunter could as well. Hamlin, Truex, and Busch won’t race forever. Bass Pro Shops sponsoring a driver with Hunter in his name seems like a match.

So these 3 dates were not filled yet. I wonder if Ty Dillon is done with the 54 car.

The #54 might be done with Ty Dillon.
