After winning races and championships with relative ease, Sam Mayer is adjusting to life in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with JR Motorsports now that he’s 18 years old. He chats with Davey this week about the speed in the No. 8 car but lack of results, how he’s gelled with the team, his relationship with fellow youngster Ty Gibbs and more, including how he spent the Olympic break basking in the glory of his Milwaukee Bucks winning the NBA title.
Bryan Nolen also joins Davey this week to discuss whether or not the two-week break should remain a mainstay on the Cup schedule, preview Watkins Glen this weekend and discuss what the final four races of the regular season may entail.
