The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season comes to a close this Sunday afternoon (Nov. 7) in the diamond in the desert of Phoenix International Raceway. One driver is crowned champion when it’s all said and done, but he’ll have to beat three other drivers in a field of 39 cars to do win the honor.
While there will be qualifying this weekend, the field of 39 guarantees that all drivers on the entry list will start Sunday’s 312-lap event.
David Starr returns to compete in his seventh event of 2021 behind the wheel of the No. 13 MBM Ford this season.
The championship finale begins on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. ET. and will be broadcasted live on NBC.
