Landon Pembelton will drive a limited schedule for Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series in 2022, Venturini announced Jan. 6.
Pembelton’s debut will occur at Elko Speedway, followed by main-series events at the Milwaukee Mile and Toledo Speedway.
He’ll also compete for the team at Phoenix Raceway in the ARCA Menards Series West.
“I am grateful for the opportunity with Venturini Motorsports and will make the most of the time,” Pemberton said in a team release. I am given to learn as much as I can,” Pembelton said in a team release. “Toyota and Venturini Motorsports are both proven winners in ARCA and I am excited for the challenge. I’m ready to rely on their leadership and knowledge to give me the best opportunity to succeed. I’ve got high expectations for myself. With the good equipment underneath me and knowing what I’m capable of, there’s no reason we can’t start off running top five.”
The 16-year-old Pembelton finished 10th NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series National Division I standings in 2021.
Pembelton’s car number for his starts was not announced in the release.
