Kyle Weatherman Moves to DGM

Kyle Weatherman moves to DGM Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for 2022, DGM announced Jan. 31.

Weatherman will drive the No. 92 in at least five races, beginning at Daytona International Speedway next month.

ā€œI am extremely thankful for the partnerships that have come to fruition to make 2022 happen, and I am so excited for the season to begin,ā€ Weatherman said in a team release ā€œIā€™d like to thank Mario and Michelle [Gosselin, team owners] for this opportunity to go racing, and I canā€™t wait to see what we can accomplish together in the No. 92 car.ā€

Weatherman will remain in the No. 92 for the first five races of 2022, with sponsorship from Wolfpack Racing and PORAC.

ā€œIā€™ve watched Kyle grow year after year, and Iā€™m really impressed with what heā€™s been able to achieve on the track,ā€ Mario Gosselin said. ā€œWeā€™re looking forward to working with Kyle and seeing what he can accomplish at DGM as he embarks on the next chapter of his racing career.ā€

In 2021, Weatherman competed in the full Xfinity season for Mike Harmon Racing, starting 30 races, with a best finish of 15th twice.

He has one top 10 in 61 career starts.

Weatherman takes over the No. 92 from Josh Williams, who moves to BJ McLeod Motorsports for 2022.

Weatherman is the second driver to be announced to DGM’s lineup, following Mason Massey, who will compete in a part-time schedule in the No. 91.
