Ernie Francis Jr. will return to the Superstar Racing Experience this weekend at I-55 Speedway, SRX announced July 11.
Francis will pilot the No. 99 Cornwell Tools car as a 13th entry for this weekend’s event.
This will be the third SRX event featuring a 13-car field rather than the typical dozen entries.

The Indy Lights driver has competed in two SRX races this season at Five Flags Speedway and South Boston Speedway, with finishes of 11th and seventh, respectively.
The SRX event at I-55 is scheduled for July 16 at 7 p.m. ET on CBS.
