Trevor Bayne on 2010 Kroger 200 Pole at ORP

BROWNSBURG, Ind. – Qualifying for the Kroger 200 Benefitting Riley Hospital for Children went off at 5:00 p.m. Saturday night (July 24) at O’Reilly Raceway Park with 43 cars running for the 43 starting spots. Trevor Bayne was the 16th driver to take to the track but was the fastest car in the field after everyone had posted a time. Bayne’s fast lap was 22.427 seconds with a speed of 110.117 mph. He was the only driver to exceed 110 mph.

Starting outside of the first row will be Steve Wallace with a lap of 22.554 seconds and a speed of 109.497 mph. Row two will consist of the Fords of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Paul Menard. Kyle Busch is back in the Nationwide Series this week and will be starting in the fifth position inside row three with Aric Almirola in the highest-starting Chevrolet.

Last week’s combatants Brad Keselowski and Carl Edwards will be starting eighth and 13th respectively.

The green flag flies at 8:00 p.m. tonight.
