Last weekend at Mansfield Motorsports Park, rookie of the year contender Donny Lia surprised himself and the world of NASCAR with his last lap pass on David Starr to score his first career Craftsman Truck Series victory in just his eighth start. When Starr took the white flag for the final half-mile around the track, his first win since 2006 seemed inevitable until heavy contact from Lia caused the truck to break loose from the driver of the No. 11 Pit-Now.com Toyota Tundra.

Tracking the Trucks: 2007 Casino Arizona 150 at Phoenix

Kyle Busch took the checkered flag ahead of Ron Hornaday Jr. at Phoenix International Raceway Friday night. Busch held onto the lead following a late race red-flag -- the second of the night -- to win the Casino Arizona 150. Mike Bliss, Jason Leffler and Kevin Harvick rounded out the top five.

Tracking the Trucks: 2007 Silverado 350K at Texas

Ted Musgrave took the checkered flag under caution ahead of Brendan Gaughan to win his first race since 2005 in St. Louis. Musgrave survived a green-white-checkered finish in the Silverado 350K at Texas Motor Speedway Friday night that saw the two frontrunners, Chad McCumbee and Jack Sprague, wreck each other shortly after taking the green flag. Mike Skinner, Mike Bliss and Rick Crawford rounded out the top five.

Tearing Apart the Trucks: Wyler and Gaughan Join Forces

It's no secret it takes money to succeed in NASCAR. Typically a larger team with more resources at hand has more success than a small team. Perhaps that's why Craftsman Truck Series owners Jeff Wyler and Michael Gaughan have joined forces. Earlier this week, the two announced the formation of Wyler-Gaughan Racing, which will field two full-time truck teams in 2008. The team will attempt to qualify for at least six Sprint Cup races as well.
