You haven’t made …

Who… should you be talking about after the race? Denny Hamlin might not have won the top starting spot by virtue of speed but he certainly had plenty of speed to stay there. Atlanta Motor Speedway proved to be a tough (and hot) track for the NASCAR Cup Series underdogs, as only one was able to finish inside the top 20. Christopher Bell, driving the No. 95 Toyota for Leavine Family Racing, ended up 18th. Bell had a run-in with Erik Jones just before the end of stage two while racing four-wide. Jones’s tire went flat and he had to pit, which put him a lap down. The No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing pilot was understandably upset after the contact.

Luck has certainly been on Brad Keselowski’s side lately.  After winning the Coca-Cola 600 a week ago, Keselowski drew the pole and its clean air advantage early on, leading 62 laps in stage one. But he also had a fast car, sticking in the top handful …

Who… should you be talking about after the Toyota 500? Denny Hamlin has been strong at Darlington Raceway, and he had a rocket ship as the laps ticked down in Wednesday’s (May 20) Toyota 500. Thanks to that, even though Hamlin stayed on track when the caution flew with 30 laps remaining, typically a disaster …
