Andy Seuss, Our Motorsports Part Ways

Andy Seuss is no longer with NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series team Our Motorsports, he announced Wednesday (July 22).

Seuss was originally expected to drive the No. 02 car in the Xfinity Series in multiple races after Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series regular Brett Moffitt helped the team transition. However, Moffitt has competed in all but two races, earning one top five and four top 10s for Our.

Seuss last drove for the team in the season-opening ARCA race at Daytona International Speedway.

“Through 17 races as a new, young Xfinity team, we were able to score four top 10s including one top five,” Seuss wrote. “Something I’m quite proud of. We wouldn’t have been able to do so without the dedication and hard work from the guys in the shop. Learning quickly, we were able to put competitive, reliable racecars on the track. I know leaving, that the team is capable of keeping the great finishes going with the hard work that has been put in place for the foundation of the team.

“Somewhere between then and now, things began to change. The morals and standards for our amazing little team got skewed. I struggled with witnessing it, until I simply could not be a part of it any more. I hate that it came to this, I hate the timing, I hate walking away from five years of hard work and dedication, but it is not something I can put my name on any more.”

His next steps are yet to be determined.

“I do not know what the next step is for me,” he said. “I love racecars. I love racing. I love being at the racetrack. I love the competition. I love being dedicated. I love working longer and harder to beat the competition. But mostly I love the bond of a team that will do anything for each other.

“For everyone that followed along this amazing journey, from up close or far away, Thank you.”

Our has not posted a statement regarding Seuss’ departure.
